For families affected by flooding and landslides in Limbe, essential household supplies were part of the immediate response. CADEF Cameroon distributed soap, jerry cans and water-purification tablets through a joint South West WASH Cluster response supported by UNICEF, bringing practical assistance to affected households in Fako Division.

Essential supplies reaching affected households

Over 100 households received supplies through the 2023 response. Soap supported household hygiene, jerry cans provided containers for water storage, and water-purification tablets supported household water treatment. Each item addressed a practical need following the disaster.

Connecting local presence with coordinated relief

The distribution combined CADEF’s local presence with the resources and coordination of the wider WASH response. Community access and practical distribution support helped connect affected households with assistance, linking community needs with an organised response.
