Pathway to Global Advocacy through CADEF
As an accredited organization with the United Nations, CADEF CAMEROON may nominate eligible members to participate in UN events, summits, and advocacy forums. This opportunity is both an honor and a responsibility, reflecting CADEF’s commitment to ethical leadership and inclusive development.
🧭 Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for nomination, a member must:
- Be in good standing with CADEF (active, compliant, and engaged)
- Demonstrate alignment with CADEF’s mission and values
- Have contributed meaningfully to CADEF’s programs, advocacy, or leadership
- Possess strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Be available for pre-event briefings and post-event reporting
📝 Nomination Process
- Call for Interest
CADEF circulates a nomination call to eligible members via email and member portal. - Application Submission
Interested members submit:- A brief statement of interest
- Updated CV
- Any relevant supporting documents (e.g. motivation letter, prior advocacy experience)
- Review & Selection
A CADEF panel evaluates candidates based on:- Merit and mission alignment
- Representation balance (gender, region, background)
- Relevance to the event theme
- Confirmation & Preparation
Selected nominees receive:
- Official confirmation letter
- Orientation materials
- Support for travel logistics and event registration
